Would you like to have your dog turned into a “dog person”? We can do that.
We have 12 templates available, most of them “vintage dogs.” Framed in an antique or antique-looking frame and hung on the wall, these special “dog people” really look like family photos. And they look great in any decor. We are starting off with a limited number of templates and will expand as demand warrants.
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE: One matted, signed and archival photograph approximately 8 X 10 inches in an 11 X 14 inch mat (fits in 11 X 14 frame); other sizes available for additional fee. COST: The cost for one dog is $75 (we prefer to take the photograph for the same price), plus $6 shipping for a total of $81. Photos featuring two dogs as a couple are $150 plus $6 shipping for a total of $156.
How it works:
We prefer to take the photograph of your dog if you live in the Champaign, IL. area. The cost is $75.

Pick out one of the templates below and e-mail us the photograph of your dog and its paws. The photograph needs to be a high-resolution jpeg (sized 5 X 7 inches, 300 dpi) or a tif file (5 X 7 inches, 300 dpi). If the photo you send us is not suitable, we will contact you to request another image. Click here to place an order and include the name of the template you want.
Or you can mail a print to: Dogtown Artworks, P.O. Box 126, Pesotum, IL. 61863. Include a SASE if you want the photo returned. Include your e-mail and/or phone number. We cannot use a copyrighted image from a professional photographer.
Please note: These are actual vintage photos that we use for the templates. They have slight imperfections. We want these images to look like family heirlooms that have been passed down from generation to generation. Note: The “© Dogtown Artworks” marks are to protect our images on the Web — it will not be on the print you will receive.
We will send you a PayPal invoice (you can use any credit card) or you can mail us a check. We also accept Visa and MasterCard over the phone. Payment must be made (10 business days for check to clear) before we can do the transformation.
We will send you a low-resolution jpeg proof via e-mail for your approval.
It will take us 10 to 14 business days to turn your dog into a vintage and adorable “dog person.”
